My Embrace

The cold

It’s strange isn’t it?

Cold yet warm

This is my embrace

How sad is it that you're here

How sad is it that you're the reason

How sad is it that you were driven mad

How sad is it that you welcomed my embrace

Child born anew

Cold and dark

Alone with your withered heart

Flesh reveals bone

Bone turns to dust

As you sit next to my throne

Child of darkness

Prodigy of death

A worthy apprentice

And when you master your skill

And you welcome others like you

You'll see kind souls others did kill

So much potential

So much talent

All for nothing

Because of the cruelty of the human race
