My Everything

Anger, I know that

Temper, hard to control that

Sometimes you need help, we all know that

But I turn to God, no fallback

He’s the one I look to for consummate contentment

To him I offer my undivided commitment

With him by my side ain’t no kind of resentment

Been hearin bout his army. Expect my enlistment

Evil in the world, yeah I see it’s prevalence

To sit and do nothing, well that would be ignorance

So I stand with God and all of his excellence

Speaking his word with the gift of his eloquence
