My Everything

You told me you would come back.

You told me that you wouldn't be gone soon.

Where are you?

You were supposed to be my safety.

The letter came in today.

We laid the flag on your grave.

We are supposed to be here for me.

Now I have to say goodbye forever?

You were supposed to be my comfort.

You came to me.

...I cannot believe you came to me today.

I finally know you were there for me.

I just couldn't see it.

You died protecting me.

You are my protector.

You are my everything.
