My Everything to Nothing

My everything and nothing is what you've become, how dumb was I to think.. That you could save my heart from drowning so it wouldn't sink. I thought you were my forever, etched in stone not in sand, I thought that we'd still be together, holding each other's hand. I've been stubbornly accepting that we've come to an end. I've typed countless messages in our thread, not having the courage to press send. I hope you find your happiness and I hope I find mine too. I've finally come to accept.. my forever isn't you.
