In My Eye

I have lived in the shadows of the night
My laughter has become silent & my joy hasn't visited
My heart's pulse has slowed for those who cared & loved me unconditionally.
While my heart has opened to those that don't know me.
Is this a cry for help?
No tears maybe for the weak & emotions for the caring.
Do I care?
Yes, I care for the minority group of any population the most.
My relationship with my Father murmurs to my heart care for all as equal, but my position is bias.
The reason being, I am a seed that was planted in the cement & harvest early fall.
I am a scale that weighs his own rights
I am a loner that walks his separate path.
