My eyes are what he sees

My eyes are what he sees when he rolls out of bed

My eyes are what he sees when he places his hands on the sides of my head

My eyes are what he sees when the world is grey

My eyes are what he sees each and every day

My eyes are what he sees when we start to fight

My eyes are what he sees when the darkness turns to light

My eyes are what he sees when he needs something to believe

My eyes are what he sees for the last time as he’ll leave
