My Face

I walk by you

You look at my face

You ask me what's wrong or what happened to make me so upset

You act like I've been like this for weeks

I put a smile on so you will stop thinking something is wrong

But inside we both know what’s truly going on

Nothing has changed from day one

Why do you always ask

Why do you think the answer will change

Nothing happened

No one said anything

This is who I am

Sad and alone

Feeling nothing inside but pain

I have been through a lot and that shows in my poems. I wish that I could just let someone open up my mind and see it for them self but since that can not happen I put it down on paper and let people see it that way....I just hope they don't judge me because of it.
