My False Reality

There are people in this world

that will lock arms around you

and build a world for you

that is so comforting,

you no longer have to sleep with your knees curled into your chest

You no longer have to shove your heart

in a box so strong that even yourself

cannot access its emotions

There will be people in this world

that think you are not different

and that you are not delusional

There will be people that are like you

And that is just that.

-my false reality

I'm 15 years old in a small town and I'm a transgender man who's trying to get through one day at a time.
