My Father
Dear Father
You left me behind
Sleepless nights I cry
Twenty years have passed
Only my memories will last
My two sisters before
weekend after weekend you came
but i was slowly forgetting your name
you left us girls crying
our mother only hoping
that you slowly wouldnt come back
Now that i am older
and i have learned the complete truth
you not only left me
you left my sisters too
you told my mom that you wanted no more kids
to go sleep around town, bed after bed
2 more brothers and a sister
we all share a last name
I dont really know
these kids i call family
I try my best to understand
as you hold out a welcoming hand
you came back to me
after years of hiding out
i did my best to give you love
only to get pushed and shoved
i came to you in a time of need
you only left me begging on my knees
finally i gave up
i quit pushing my luck
im over trying to get you back
im officially turning my back
your not my dad anymore
have fun with my step mom whore
