To my Favorite grandmother:

You are delightful

and colorful.

You make me smile

and make me feel worthwhile.

You are admirable

and make the impossible possible.

You are in my heart

and you give me support.

I think about you day and night.

I write this letter to you with all my might.

I want to see you soon.

Maybe I will come in the monsoons in June.

I will always miss you and your laugh.

When I see you with me in that old photograph,

I wish you were standing right next to me.

That day will arrive

When I take you for a long drive.

I will be with you forever by your side.

I will take you into my new home once I become a bride.

For now

I leave you with a bow.

I wish for your happiness and to be your granddaughter forever.

I wish for you to live happily ever after.
