My Fellow Miscreant

To the boy that no one cares to listen,

Here's an ear.

To the girl shut out for being different,

Here's an ear.

To the people rejected for being too down,

May you find someone who sees more to such frowns.

To the clinically sad and unforgiving,

Here's an ear.

May you find care from the living.

For too long we curse the downers.

For too long we ignore the hopeless.

For too long we step over the wounded,

and frown upon their misery and bruises.

May this world develop the love it needs.

To the negatives, to the thieves-

May We find that helping hand, may We find that appease.

Let us see more to such misery.

May We stand up from our grief.

May We find a soul who sees.

May love set us free.

Here's an ear, here's some sympathy.

My fellow miscreant.
