My Fellow Ocean

The tears run down my cheeks, and
My body and mind are weak to defeat
The cracks and holes in my heart
My fellow ocean left in me.

At a high mountain peak,
I stand,
Hope blooms within me,
Searching for the muse my tears are for.

For strength I seek,
When I cannot reach my muse.
Yet,
My eyes do not lie
When the distance between us strikes my heart.

I despise the ocean-
The heart breaker.
For its vastness
It is my heart-breaker!

The days which darkness embraces my mind and soul.
The nights where darkness is the shoulder I lean on
While the tears stream down my face.

I'm always on a quest for strength
Although I know
My only consolation lies on the other side of the ocean.

With every tear however,
Pride springs upon my muse's soul
A smile is brought  upon the delicate face
My heart knows to the last feature.

The strength of each tear
Becomes the strength to lift my head,
Learn how to play the game of life
 And defeat the vastness
Of my fellow ocean.
