My Fire
Why do I seek to touch fire?
The reason isn't pain, but somehow it is.
The pain proves I am alive;
For there can be no pain after life.
That is all I hold onto for those I've lost.
But then why hold onto life?
To find more people that would make me cry.
To find those that make me feel.
To find those I love too much to lose.
THEY are my fire.
There can never be enough fire.
