My First

Dear First,

Two beings

Bound by love

Explored a path like no other

Combined together at once

Because of a simple "yes"

No bond ever more sweet;

So sweet it bought joy and fear to some

One heart beated faster as growth came

The other heart skipped beats knowing this

Nothing on this earthly world could change that

Nothing the one heart thought at least

Their worlds fastly came crashing apart as fast as it started

Bloodshot eyes and a pool of red devoured a life

Fast beating heart became just a memory in the mind

Tears shed from one side

Heaven gained their angel back

A new love has come now

A new opportunity appeared to make to make it right

To my first, boy or girl, you will always be my first

To my second, boy or girl, I love you
