My First Love

When I first met you

I didn’t think we would come this far

You were just there

And I didn’t notice your heart

Slowly, my heart opened up

To those humorous and lovely words

To that gracious smile

That struck my heart like a sword

Eventually, my heart was all yours,

I couldn’t stop thinking about you

And how you felt

About the relationship between us two

The confession that I made

May have hurt us both

However I am glad it was declared

Because I knew that you didn’t feel the same way

You will forever be remembered

For my heart cannot forget

All the laughs and the

Sweet Talks we shared
