My First Love

I fell in love first with your kindness,

And soon after your sweetness,

Next, your smile and passion,

And your caring and compassion,

Not long after your silliness and goofiness,

And finally your giving heart and selflessness,

As a friend I thought I loved just parts of you,

But as you became more than a friend,

That's when I realized that I love all of you.
