My Forbidden Fruit

My Forbidden Fruit

If it were a perfect world, it would be you and me

I fantasize a bit, I have that tendency

I picture you holding me as I inhale your love while listening to the rhythm of your heartbeat

I wonder the taste you would leave upon my lips after a kiss

I daydream about how you made me feel when you gracefully rubbed your finger across my cheek on the football field one Saturday morning

You may not remember

But since then, even more I often would yearn for you

My forbidden fruit, I’m forced to put these feelings aside

Getting full on what I’m holding inside

Even if you don’t realize exactly who I am, at least my words were expressed

If telling you my feelings is of any sin, I pray God has already forgave

I just had to let you know before my soul ever ascends and body in the grave.

      I Love You!

Jess_Speak_Dont_Choke

Writing poetry is my passion but I recently joined a Toastmasters club in my area and I now enjoy speech writing. I am currently working on writing a book. They say you will never work a day in your life if you do something you love, well I love writing, and that is what I pray my profession will be. No, let me correct myself, my name is Jessica and I am a writer!
