My forest

Today my forest is dark.
The trees are sad and all the butterflies
have broken wings.
I think it’s because you’re missing me.
I hate myself because of you.
Why did I love someone who never gave me anything in return.
Why did I wait for him if he never waited for me...
I wish you would’ve told me from the start that
I was gonna end up with a broken heart.
Now I’m sitting here alone in my dark forest,
the trees are sad, and all the butterflies have broken wings
and it’s all because YOU’RE missing me
