My forest
When the words fall out of your mouth
And they splatter on the ground
And you wish to take them back
But they've already taken root
The seeds turn into trees
Within a matter of seconds
And they're big and thick,
unforgettable
And it soon turns into a forest
Cuz most people don't know when to stop
You spread the disease
Through pollen and wind
Through sentences and fragments
Through love and hate
I can only take so much
So i send a crew to cut them down
I don't care which they choose
Some is better than none
And i'll try to forgive
As i sit on your stumps
And cry silently
Cuz what's a friend for
If trust gets broken this easily
