My Forever

You asked me to marry you,

And i said i would if you got me a toy ring.

I though you were joking,

But the more we talk,

The longer we're together,

I realize you're serious,

Last night,

When you came to bed,

You pulled me close and

started asking where i saw myself in 5 years.

every time,

Every single time i talk to you,

You remind me you're not going anywhere.

And you have no idea how much that helps me.

You mixed my name with yours and asked me

If i liked how it sounded.

You look at me like i'm your forever.

And you say my name like you've been in love with me since

The beginning.
