My Fortitude

The ceiling

Is looking appealing

As I’m lying on the floor

Wondering the reasoning

For what I was put here for

I’m feeling

That I’m done with dealing

With all the fake healing

Nothing is changing nor

Is it erasing

It’s like I’m in the Trojan war

I’ve invited the steed

Into my core

Without any clarity

Into the fortitude that I swore

Would never be torn
