My Foster Dogs

A light brown couch Red dog curled on the back sleeping A second on the floor, timid, watching others play around him The air is bright from open windows Warm with the morning sun Hope lives here The growl of playing puppies The whine of one who never learned how The clink of dog tags as he tries How many fosters have been here? Where will these animals go? Hope lives here Comfort Warmth Relaxation Hope lives here
