My Friend

My Friend,

Where would I be without you?

You and I are meant to be,

at least this much is true.

The other part of me is you.

And yet, after all we've been through,

will this line lead me to you?

Through the windchimes and through the bells,

I would carry you through hell.

And let it be known,

that mine is a hand to hold.

For when we are together,

we can beat the cold.

they shall speak of us when we are old.

I'll never be afraid to die again.

I'll always be there for you my friend.
