My Friend
My Friend:
She was my friend,
The journey bitterly came to an end,
It’s too much to comprehend
We’ve met a dead-end…
The time and money I have spent,
Which came to the fact
I use this poem as an excuse to vent,
To vent for the misery, the misery that went
Straight to my head, and it left a dent.
Why should I give you mercy, when you’re the one who left?
I’m not the same as I was before,
Our fight shook me right to my core,
Even you can't restore
I’ve changed so much during the war,
I go to the bathroom and close the door,
Which leads to me cry and weep upon the floor,
I try my best to ignore,
The troubles behind that door.
Take responsibility for what you have done,
You need to understand,
You changed my life from day one,
Before the hate, the sorrow, and pain had begun
I just want to know what you have gained.
What is there to gain from the pain you placed upon me?
I miss all of us hanging out, us three, just talking.
I miss the laughs,
The hugs we’ve shared,
With all of us as buds
I miss you playing with my hair.
It isn't fair, I hate the guilt and sorrow
The guilt, that you have built
All the guilt upon my soul,
The pain is so hard, so hard to control
Every time I think of you,
It hurts me deep inside,
But you’re all I think about,
I think about you till it’s time to die
You’re always in my head,
You’re always in my mind,
It hurts a lot to know that all those hugs were lies
Don’t you dare bring up Gigi,
She always felt like she was beneath me
I don’t know who you had hurt more
I don’t know what hurts more
She swore she´d do anything for you
And you were everything she cared for
She hid everything inside
So you could just turn a blind eye
She only showed kindness, and care,
All the mental pain is so hard to bear.
Good friends aren´t to take advantage of
All the drama to manage yet you caused so much damage, to us
My hoodies, money, pens, and gifts,
I only have one request,
I only have one wish.
For you not to hurt anyone else
In this world
Like you hurt me,
And all the other people, which you decided to scheme
I hate you,
I love you,
I miss you,
I’m done with you.
The words I think every day,
While you’re getting praised
I am in the bathroom while
I watch my heart start to decay
It's tough to stay away from you,
It is rough on me too
I wanted to be your friend forever,
I was too young to see the lies that you drew
I knew that you thought nothing of me,
All the pain, you had no clue,
Is all because of you
I’d rather a lover than a fighter,
I bet you thought it was clever
See you never,
While you live without me,
My future will slowly be able to realize that when I’m without you,
The weather’s always better
