My Friend

Like all of you I once had a friend A friend named Thomas Thomas and I meet in school as children We were the best of friends We even stayed friends after graduation Thomas had a dark secret One that I found out about He was suffering from depression I being an understanding friend told him that I would be there for him I was his shoulder to cry on when he had a rough day I was the person he felt most comfortable to talk to One day several years ago I received a call that Thomas was gone I was crushed Devastated I still go and visit him at his grave I remind him that I'm not angry with him And that I'm still his friend Always remember You are never alone Someone will be there to help you
