To My Friend and Her Leach, Depression

Thank you

because of you I know of the pain other go through

The isolation they feel and surpress to put a smile on their face,

to seem okay

I know many lives are not perfect

and that people wear masks to hide their true feelings:

Dispear

Lonliness

I know why people hide in the corners by themselves

and why they close themselves off

To them, it is a world of black and white

and they are just pretending to see the color of everyday life

Thank you

because you have made me see that some people need others

more than they say it

That on some days people need to be reminded

that they are irreplaceable and others love them

Don't let the dark suck all the join from you life

and take away the reasons for your happiness

Once it has, that little light in your life, keeping you from being devoured by it all,

won't stop the wave of gloom from being over bearing

Thank you

because you have made me try and find others who need help

so I be their for them

To try and get them out of their slump and see the light

Something that seems little, can actually mean a lot
