To My Friends

The world is a cruel mistress

One moment you could be plotting along

the next you are through the wringer and back

Fate is entirely random

So, my friends

Just keep going.

Reality can be tough

the stress of life can weigh you down,

like a ton of bricks

others can hit you down,

so you could never get back up

So, my friends

Never give up

Whoever out there, whoever is in need

Make your own life better

And those people who are pure

I consider you my friend
