My Friend…

The first time you looked at me, I saw something in your eyes. I instantly thought, I am going to be your friend. And that’s what happened. We become amazing friends, Sticking with each other through everything. A couple years past and we stayed strong. Through all the heartbreaks and pain, We stayed inseparable as friends. The friendship that was constant, Was something I will never forget. It changed my life so much. The way we connected was amazing. We trusted each other with our life, You told me everything And I listened. We talked all the time. We picked on each other, Teased each other, But that’s how we were. We loved each other, As great friends should. And never let each other get hurt. We promised that, no matter what, We would remain friends, Through every obstacle we faced, And that is exactly what we have done.
