My Frustration
Oh what a life this is.
I drink my agony and fall to my knees.
The Earth’s veins are full of flesh rotting desease.
Lust covers the world in a bind much to strong,
She takes over a person’s mind and devours them with her compelling song.
Feckless men die for her,
Breathe in, Breathe out, it’s torture.
Put down the crayons, children forced to play with guns.
Little hands bruised by rules enforced by nuns.
Genocide, we’re full of pride, all my screams are amplified.
Its survival of the richest,
Envy of the fittest,
A world losing its interest.
Why do we let this go on?
Chip by chip the generations lose their heart.
Empathy, love and peace, was lost to us from the start.
Repeating our mantra:
Me, Myself, And I.
We let nothing touch us.
To ourselves we repeatedly lie.
Our feeling get buried deep under ground,
Our minds stay silent, not a sound.
We hide ourselves until the day we die.
If we keep this up, how can we ever fly?
