To My Furry Friend

Loving you is easy, because I know

You see me as someone worth loving

even though

I annoy you when I’m needy

I wake you from your naps

And sometimes I bathe you

Even though you hate your baths

Loving you is easy, and I want you to know

Sometimes loving you helps me find a way too

Love myself as much as you love me

Because in your eyes I can see

Someone who isn’t bothered by all the

Little things I dislike about myself

You’re someone who doesn’t mind that I’m a little messy

Someone who doesn’t mind when I get testy

Someone who doesn’t mind that I enjoy my rest

And that’s why you push me to be the best

I am currently a student attending at the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley as a Biomedical Science Major. I enjoy cycling, swimming, photography, drawing, writing, and gardening in my spare time. Volunteering is one of passions and I have volunteered in my home city of Corpus Christi at the area Children's Hospital for over a year. I come from a family of mexican-americans and am very much in love my culture.
