My Future

When I walked into math class, I never would have guessed That you would be the one to steal my heart out of my chest We started off as friends I thought that was all we'd be I didn't know my future was right in front of me The days went by The seasons changed But you and me we stayed the same Before I knew it I was single And now I felt more "free to mingle" You asked me to prom and I said yes, Though it had only been three days or less I thought we would just go as friends As innocent as could be, But something then began to change deep inside of me I saw you different than before Instead of friendship I sought more A few weeks later you asked me out And I was happy as could be, But I still didn't know my future was right in front of me We've been together five months now And this is what I know, That you are my forever Our love can only grow Now I don't just see you as a friend Thanks for being such a trooper It took some time tut now I see, I know you are my future
