My Future

Expectant eyes look upon me as I spin a tale of old. Hands scribble illegible notes that will bring back the memories of the past. I stand on a podium, center of attention for all. Ears listen to the sound that will signal the end of the day. My future is certain, their's still hopeful. "Born to teach" will be written on a mug on my desk, and I'll smile fondly at what brought me here. My journey, my past, my future.
