My Future
Waiting, waiting, waiting is what I did
Thinking I was never good at anything even as a kid.
I always wanted to find my niche
Maybe one day I’ll learn how to stitch?
What could I possibly do?
I really didn’t have a clue,
I mean I already knew how to tie my shoe.
I thought long and hard what I could be
Then it all became clear to me,
After I taught a child to learn their ABC’s
I felt my excitement grow
At this time I truly did know…
A teacher is what I was born to be
Finally I am good at something…Whoopie!
