My future

Everywhere I go, people are telling me no. Everywhere I look, people are telling me that I won't make it. I start to believe that they are right until I realize that they don't know me. They do not know what my dreams are. How hard I will work to make those dreams come alive, to make those dreams happen. They don't know what lengths I am willing to go. What strengths I have in me that are willing to go the distance. If, and the key word is if, I fall, I know that I will jump back up and try again until I am where I want to be. These dreams of mine are going to come true and I will gladly be there when it happens to tell you that. I am a strong woman who knows what she wants and is not afraid to go after it with all she has. I am an independent, strong woman who is not going to take no for an answer. This is me and these are my not my dreams. This is my future.

I really like the way you use imagery in this poem, especially in the line where you say, "I fall, I know that I will jump back up and try again." Great stuff, and keep up the good work.
