For My Future
When I speak, I don't open my mouth to breathe.
I don't express silence because I want to be heard.
I create my own story through my actions, my words
Seeking to be part of a world that is continuously changing.
I see desperation, longing to be someone great,
Similar in my own cause but different by fate.
I see mysef through a mirror, and I want to be heard,
Scream "I am here," not a speck in a crowd.
It's time for change, can no longer sit back and watch myself fade in the background.
I cannot continue to fall into the trap of evil and break my morals.
With every decision I have to say "it's for my future," and turn away from anything or anyone that will distract me from my goals.
