My Future Ahead

The future looks bright those words they said and handed me my diploma for my future ahead So many decisions are now mine to make, So many paths to the road that I'll take. Excitement and expectations fill my heart to the brim My goals I'll attain- - though I know not when. With a heart full of gratitude - I move swiftly along To be born in a country where I truly belong Here in the land of the U.S.A. I'm truly free & here I'll stay. Free to make my life how I want it to be Free to worship in peace & be happy being me As I move into the next phase of my life I will work diligently thru good times and strife success is a word measured many a way I'll work hard to be a good man in this age & day And when I look back many years from now May there be no regrets where i end up or how.
