To my future daughter

To my future daughter:

You were so beautifully and perfectly made.

Every last inch of you, from the top of your head to the soles of your feet is unique to you.

Constantly the world will try to tell you that you aren't enough because you aren't like everyone else.

But you are so beautiful.

More beautiful than the stars that fill the sky on a dark night in the country.

More beautiful than a sunset over the Pacific Ocean.

Your smile, brings me happiness.

And your happiness brings me life.

I love you so much.

And I want you to remember how much I love you,

because this world is a cruel place that will break you apart.

So keep a strong spirit always.

You are a princess.

You are my princess.

And on your worst days, when you don't feel beautiful and the world around you makes you feel small,

Please remember you were beautifully and perfectly made and mommy loves you.
