To my future partner

Before we fall in love you should know

We should not stunt each other’s growth

We will change will time

If we grow apart that'll be fine

Fixating on keeping things the same

Might keep us from being sane

We shouldn't end in flames

Because feelings aren't a game

If our relationship should ever end

Maybe we won't be friends

But we should still cherish the good moments we had

And become better people to keep from repeating the bad
