My Future Self

Dear future self,

Future self, I hope you are receiving this letter in good health

I hope you are not gripped with concerns of wealth

I hope you have free time, and work without sleep is not your paradigm

I hope you have your intended career, and you aren't searching for jobs in fear

I hope you find a woman that completes you, and doesn't take your possessions from beneath you

I hope you remain smart, and that the books you read years ago were just the start

I hope you continue to indulge in food, but your belly doesn't start to protrude

And finally,

I hope you have reached or continue to chase your dreams, and the future is not as scary as it seems
