My Garden
And may my pen be a one man army
a companion when the road swiftly empties
and I be left alone
may it be someone I can plant roses to
and tulips to kiss me poetry
and plant happiness in my soul
grow into me,
and let me tell my stories
for people yet to come,
and breathe the roses
in me.
