My Genesis

Me growing from kid to teen

Waiting for my life to begin

Hanging outside in the green

Just playing with my older kin

She grew up and moved out by twenty

Missing my help through the house

Knowing there would not be any

My eyes were becoming rouse

Filling in the missing pieces

That she has left behind

Creates great opportunities

And responsibilities that are mine

When she left it was sad

But also it was a benefit

The assist helped me through the bad

This is my genesis
