my goal
i contain hope, which is
stronger than despair.
i wont let that hope die
ever, because that is what it wants
and the freedom of death will take me when it pleases
and in death i will rejoice because i never let hope die.
if i walk your compound will you look unto me and call me a fool
will you write my name in the book of torture and evelasting despair
because i never let hope die. is this a betrayal that will lead to more pain
will i pay beyond what was betowed on me because i did not let hope die
you see, i know you think we are the same, but you are the root of my conflict
it was you who lead me here, and for that i keep my hope alive in the midst of my own despair.
