My God

They call me crazy

In fact, even insane,

But I know this will all be worth it

When I hear you call my name.

I’ll look at you with nothing but joy

And give you a giant hug

Even though I know

I won’t be with a lot of people I love.

“I tried to make them believe me,”

I’ll explain

“But they just didn’t understand,

That every single thing on that earth

Is in your very hands.”

He’ll look at me with love

And hold my hand

And say , "You did well my child,

You took a stand."

I can’t live without my God

Though they’ve made me try

But I could never steal from Him

or try to tell Him a lie.

I hope they’ll soon believe me

That he’s the Way, the Truth, and the Life

I want to be with them forever,

I don’t want them to die.

So I will just keep preaching

And blessing people when I can

because actions speak louder than words

and God blesses those who believe in the lamb.
