My Grandma
Dear Grandma,
Often times, I find myself too caught up with life that I do not get a chance to talk to you as much anymore. I wanted to check up on how you were doing. Personally, I am stress with the endless amount of school work my teachers assign to me. I now find myself wishing I was younger so that I can retract from all this stress. Furthermore, I am more appreciative towards my brothers. It was funny then how many fights you had to break up between us. However, now, they provide me with comfort and support whenever I become overwhelmed with stress. Do you remember those days we spent together at your house? You taught us Vietnamese and took us to the grocery store every day! Although you could not speak English, you were willing to take us to an American supermarket to buy our favorite snacks. Before, I did not grasp how much courage that took, but now I understand. Once mom allows me to drive, I will surely return the favor. In conclusion, I just hope that you're okay.
Love,
Pumpkin
