To my greatest enemy

Dear Food,

You entice me constantly with your sweet aromas that cover up the deception lying beneath

You have led me to the ends of the earth; striving, wishing, wanting for someone to fill the void that you house in my soul

You have always been there when I needed someone, anyone.

You no longer have this grip on my soul; my order to be loved and wanted is being filled by someone else

You have desperately tried to worm your way back into that once empty spot in my soul, but there is no room for you there anymore

You will now be used as intended, you will be the fuel to help me go from one day to the other

You will be used according, the portion sizes followed as they were meant to

You will no longer be judged by how much weight you might add to my body, or by how many hours I will have to be at the gym in order to burn you off

You will be used as intended, and nothing more

Sincerly,

Freedom
