My Greatest Fear

I am afraid to fall in love Yes it will amazing feeling to behold Being whole and not needing to worry Staying with him until I am decrepit and old But I am cautious of stepping in to the abyss Not knowing whether i will make it out alive This great fear engulfs me So if he wants to court me i have to lie When or if I find this one soul mate I wonder if i will be grateful of my choice When this indecision will cease How can i find my voice For my fantasies to be the real thing Rather in the back of my mind Dreams that flow so effortlessly Coming together yours and mine One of these days Not today maybe tomorrow When I see his face Then I'll know he'll be the one to free of this great sorrow Inspired by the song:" You and I" by Jason Mraz
