My greatest friend

When I'm asked what poetry means to me I tell them what it does, it gives me a way to express myself when no one really cares, it helps me dry my tears when no one is there, and when I write about my fears it's like they're not even there, and when no one wants to listen it is my greatest friend, because when I'm all alone my poetry is still there.
