My Greatest Influence

In 17 years of life,

My problems have been quite small.

I have not seen much strife,

yet I know what comes of it all.

In that time there have been some

who pushed me to greatness 

even when I felt dumb.

Their love for me is endless, 

and I thank them daily.

For these great influences in my life

have always been my family.

They showed me right from wrong,

and they love me so much.

They have been with me all along,

and I still lean on them like a crutch.

Yes, my family influences me most.
