My Greatness
My Greatness is my early morning rise; My Greatness is my ability to swallow my pride
My Greatness comes from standing tall when my spirit is broken; when my lover leaves with my heart still open…
My Greatness comes from my ancestors that worked the fields and pleased the Master at his Will.
My Greatness is defined by the roars and moans of my people, their perseverance is still unequalled; their strength, their pride, their desire to achieve, their unwavering faith in uncertainty.
My Greatness is the strength of my silence in a room of men; the way “I am Women” can make them bend; bow their heads and not utter to speak….the flow of my pen can turn the mighty meek.
My greatness is echoed in my stride, Strong; Confident; Fearless and Pride!
A strong women bound to do great, because my greatness is being awake!
