My Hair Brush

I bring it everywhere I go
It helps my life flow.
Without it I don’t even know.
Panic and anxiety overflow.
How could something so small
have so much control.
No one understands why
because they don’t even try.
The answers are in my past
but I cannot tell till time has passed.
Without it I am not the same
I would probably go insane.
My brush is part of me
Until I can flee.
